GDPR
At EduExcell, we understand the significance of data privacy and security to you, which is equally important to us. Apart from adhering to relevant EU and national data privacy laws, we've strengthened our commitment to EU data protection by investing in hosting facilities within the EU. However, due to our global platform, personal data may be transmitted and processed outside the EEA in data facilities. EduExcell employs the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, known as 'model clauses,' in our Data Processing Addendum (DPA). This ensures that both data controllers (our EU-based customers) and data processors commit to technical and organizational measures, safeguarding the privacy and rights of data subjects (end users of our EU-based customers). Even though enforcement of the GDPR starts on May 25, 2018, EduExcell has already implemented internal measures to align with the GDPR's enhanced privacy requirements.
